Our venue is set in the most perfect location, just a few minutes drive from the idyllic seaside town of Carvoeiro, with some of the most picturesque beaches along the Algarve coastline from our sunset terrace.
The perfect place to chill and relax
The Lighthouse has two spacious terraces overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, an elegant dining room, separate lounge and bar area, pool bar, as well as a children’s play area.
The panoramic views from the terrace are stunning and the outdoor lounge compliments the stylish design and ambiance of the restaurant.
The Lighthouse has recently been refurbished and has attractively been decorated with bespoke artwork, consistent with the theme of the restaurant.
The Lighthouse would be a great venue for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays or any other functions or events.
With regular live music of a very high standard, The Lighthouse is sure to deliver.

Our favourite place to visit with family and friends.
We were made to feel welcome from the minute we walked in to the minute we left.
Beautiful venue and views. Food and service was amazing. The whole site is spotless from the pool, to the dining areas and to the toilets.
Lots of local families and families on holiday like us. Also, lots of couples as it’s such a nice spot for just chilling out.
There is something here to keep everyone happy!
The restaurant was full in the evening…always a good sign.
Looks like a stunning location for a function or wedding too as the views from the outside terrace are out of this world.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in and around Carvoeiro (even if you’re not - Ubers are really easy and reasonably priced in the Algarve)! It costs us about €25 each way in an Uber from Albufeira.

Excellent evening out, recommend highly!
Came here the first week of our holiday and enjoyed it so much we booked it for our last meal tonight before we came home. Setting is incredible, beautiful scenery and atmosphere(saxophone player was brilliant!) , the staff cannot do enough for you! Especially a shout out to Christian who chatted to us about his mma aspirations and was excellent all night suggesting dishes and keeping our drinks topped up! Food was sublime, every dish we had was amazing but especially the scallop and goats cheese starters, and chicken supreme, curry and fillet mains.
The port wine was amazing also, the 5yr especially. And to top it off on both nights the owner came round to the tables to ask how we’d found the food and service-even whilst hosting his own family on the second night we were there!!
Cannot recommend this place enough for a beautiful night out in the algarve!

Lovely evening at a classy restaurant
We are a family of 6, grandparents, parents and teens and had meals out most nights while staying at Rocha Brava. All were good but Lighthouse stood out as a cut above and not much extra in cost. The setting is lovely with sea views and what strikes you immediately is the number of attentive staff. The menu was extensive and imaginative and they were easily able to cater for two of us being gluten free. A white wine was recommended which was lovely but one of the cheaper ones on the list. When we had finished they were happy for us to linger over a coffee on the terrace and the owner even came over to check we were happy. I am sure this is a hang out for the prosperous golfing set in the area but we were made welcome and not intimidated whatsoever.

'Last meal’ easy choice!
Our last evening meal before flying home, we’d been once before on this holiday, every member of our family holiday, 9 of us, very much enjoyed our first meal so much that everybody wanted to return for our 'last meal'.
Lighthouse was very very good on both visits, never disappoints. Great varied menu, prawns, fillet steaks, fishcakes are fantastic. My kids choose the Thai curry and throughly enjoyed it. I opted for portugese steak because the last restaurant I had it at in Carvoeiro was so disappointing, it was wonderful! Beautiful gravy, crispy potato slices and great sirloin steak.
Atmosphere, staff, food, drinks, value for money, all way above the local standards. We highly recommend a visit here. It won’t disappoint. Also our second year of visiting Lighthouse. Best in area!

Looking forward to return this summer
We visited the lighthouse last year in august ( pretty much the whole of our holiday ) it just has it all.!! The sunsets and sundowner drinks and views are unmatched on the seated terrace area, views are stunning, Just gorgeous. Allocated nights for live music and very talented chefs. We had the best paella EVER here, on a guest chef night.! Prices are really reasonable for food /drinks on any night / day we visited and was always delicious. Spent family days around the pool for a very small surcharge and on day beds with the girls. Love this place, you have to visit to believe it as lots of areas in the Resturant and still feels safe if you have children. Saxophonist not to be missed in the evening which was a lovely end to the days we spent here. Great value for money and everything presented to a high standard. Staff super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We cannot wait to go back this summer. Highly recommend.

Great place, excellent food & service
This restaurant is in walking distance of Rocha Brava - 5 min walk. It has large terrace, with lovely comfortable seating. Nice and spacious, which looks out to the sea in the distance. Superb sunsets! We visited once for drinks on the terrace & listened to the saxophonist - very relaxing. Then went back for dinner. Great friendly service & the food was delicious. Mid price range. Very good value for money and the quality of food was high & beautifully presented. There is also a pool with seating & loungers that you can visit during the day for small fee. Highly recommend.
